Do you have a thankless job?

My job in medicine is considered thankless. I understand why.

I see patients at the end of their journey.

To be honest, I used to dread speaking with family members who were grieving, until I found coaching.

Before, I used to think that the person’s grief was directed at me. The conversations felt uncomfortable.

Now that I understand the expression of grief has nothing to do with me personally, the conversations became easier.

One day, I unexpectedly received a thank you card from someone that warmed my heart and reminded me why I do this work.

The person’s words were, “I’ve never met in person, but I could tell that you’re a good person to do this work.” Reading the card caused me to realize even when you don’t think people notice, you are appreciated.

Remember the joy you used to have for your career that’s been replaced by dread. 😟 You know, the love you felt in college or medical school.❤️

Spend 30 minutes with me, and you’ll walk away knowing exactly how to rediscover why you chose your career path. In a short time, you could put the dread behind you and enjoy your dream career again. Click here to schedule your consultation call.
